IDENTIFIKASI PROSES BISNIS PERGURUAN TINGGI DENGAN PENDEKATAN KERANGKA CIM-OSA

ABSTRACT

Strategic planning at the higher education institution begins from self-evaluation process. First step in the self-evaluation process is identifying all of business processes in the higher education organization. The purposes of this research are to obtain the map of business processes in the higher institution and to identify main business process, which give the biggest influence for the quality increment in the higher education. Model for mapping business processes used in this research is CIM-OSA (Computer Integrated Manufacturing-Open System Architecture). The results of mapping business processes are weighted using AHP to define the level of importance in the organization. There are three main processes in the higher education institution, as the result of this research, consists of management process, core business process, and supporting process. From the calculation of AHP process, learning process is the most importance process with score 0.649, folowwed by marketing process with score 0.279 and preparation for learning process with score 0.072.

ABSTRAK

Pengembangan strategis pada institusi pendidikan tinggi diawali dari proses self- evaluation. Langkah awal di dalam self-evaluation pada institusi pendidikan tinggi adalah melakukan identifikasi pada seluruh proses bisnis yang ada pada penyelenggaraan pendidikan tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan proses bisnis pada institusi pendidikan tinggi serta mengetahui proses bisnis apakah yang memberikan pengaruh terbesar pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan tinggi. Model pemetaan proses bisnis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah CIM-OSA (Computer Integrated Manufacturing-Open System Architecture). Hasil pemetaan proses bisnis dibobotkan dengan menggunakan AHP untuk melihat tingkat kepentingan di dalam organisasi. Dari hasil pemetaan proses bisnis institusi pendidikan tinggi, terdapat tiga proses utama pendidikan tinggi yaitu proses manajemen, proses utama yaitu pengajaran dan proses pendukung Pada hasil perhitungan proses AHP, dapat dilihat bahwa proses belajar mengajar merupakan proses yang paling penting dengan nilai 0.649, disusul dengan proses penjaringan calon mahasiswa sebesar 0.279 dan persiapan proses belajar mengajar sebesar 0.072.
