TEKNIK ENTRI TEKS PADA JAM TANGAN PINTAR: STUDI LITERATUR

Abstract


Jam tangan pintar atau lebih dikenal dengan sebutan smartwatch, merupakan devais komputer digital berukuran mini yang memiliki fungsi selain sebagai jam tangan juga dapat melakukan tugas komputasi cerdas. Oleh karena keterbatasan ukuran layarnya, jam tangan pintar memerlukan teknik desain khusus pada masukan dan keluarannya agar dapat berinteraksi dengan penggunanya. Teknik untuk masukan dan keluaran tersebut, spesifik terhadap jenis aplikasi tertentu. Entri teks seringkali dibutuhkan oleh berbagai aplikasi, namun karena layar jam tangan pintar berukuran kecil, maka teknik entri teks yang biasa digunakan pada komputer personal tidak praktis bila diterapkan pada jam tangan pintar. Penelitian ini berfokus pada eksplorasi teknik-teknik entri teks yang digunakan pada jam tangan pintar, dan evaluasi performanya berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan tiap metode beserta kesimpulannya.
