Manuscripts
Manuscripts must be original research works that make a significant contribution to the field of public administration. Authors must submit their manuscripts electronically using the submission procedures of Dinamika Governance: Jurnal Ilmu Administrasi Negeri (Journal of Public Administration). The corresponding author must also provide a statement stating that the manuscript is not being considered for publication elsewhere. Submissions that do not comply with these procedures will be ignored by the editor.
General Writing Format
Manuscripts should be prepared on A4 paper, single-sided, and single-spaced. New paragraphs should begin 5 characters from the left margin, using a 12-point font, 1.15 line spacing, and a 6-point font size after each paragraph, using Times New Roman. The length should be approximately 5,000–6,000 words, including figures, tables, and references.
The manuscript should be written in English or Indonesian.
The title should be capitalized only for the first word or special names (e.g., location names), with a 14-point font size, centered.
The manuscript should be between 10 and 13 pages long.
References must use Mendeley APA 7th Edition.
References must be from publications from the last ten years (>80%), except for key references (80%). Use of textbooks should be minimized (<20%), and include at least three references from the Dinamika Governance Journal.
Plagiarism check results must show a similarity score of no more than 25%. Primary sources should be no more than 3%. Otherwise, the manuscript must be revised.
Manuscript Structure
- Title. The title should be clear and informative, consisting of no more than 18 words.
- Authors and Affiliations. The names of the authors should be accompanied by their institutional affiliations and email addresses, without academic titles. For co-authored papers, one of the authors should be designated as the corresponding author.
- Abstract, Keywords: The abstract should be 150–200 words. Please provide an abstract in both English and Indonesian. Keywords should consist of 4 to 5 words or phrases. At least one appropriate classification number from Dinamika Governance: Journal of Public Administration Science must be included.
- Introduction. This section should explain the background of the research, review previous studies in the field, and clearly state the purpose of the manuscript. Most importantly, this section should highlight the significance and novelty of the research.
Specific Writing Format
- Equations and formula should be numbered as (1), (2)...etc appearing to their right.
- Estimation results from a software package are not allowed to be directly presented in the paper. They should be presented in summary tables.
Tables and Figures
Tables and figures should be presented as follows:
- The name of tables and figures should follow a numbering system (Arabic numbering system). The title of the tables and figures are placed at the top and the bottom respectively.
- The tables and figures should provide the source of information, if any, at the bottom.
- Any table should contain only heading and contents. The table contains row lines only without column lines. Note(s) and source(s) should be included underneath the table where appropriate.
Citation
Citation in the text body should be written using the family name and years of publication. Example:
a. Hill (2001) suggests that the objective of depreciation is ....
b. Inflation targeting would be sufficient (McCain, 1982).
c. The definition of contagion is ... (Wagner, 1976; Rhonda 2009).
d. The Authors are recommended to use Mendeley Reference software.
References
The manuscript is expected to involve approximately 20-25 primary and up-to-date references to assert high quality contributions to the knowledge development. Citations and references must strictly follow the APA (American Psychological Association) style.
References should be those of the last ten years publication (>80%), except for key references (80%). Referring to any textbook should be minimized (<20%), Include at least 3 references from Jurnal Dinamika Governance.

How to Submit a Manuscript?
- The manuscript in Microsoft Word format should be submitted to the editorial team by clicking the Online Submission tab on our website.
- During the online registration process on the submission website, authors are required to provide a brief biography that includes full name, academic degrees, institutional affiliation, phone number, mobile number, and other relevant details.
Final Decision
Based on the results of the peer review process, the final decision regarding the acceptance of each manuscript for publication will be communicated to the author through the website system, with one of the following outcomes:
- Accepted without revision,
- Accepted with minor revision,
- Accepted with major revision,
- Rejected.
