IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN MERDEKA BELAJAR KAMPUS MERDEKA FISIP UPN VETERAN JAWA TIMUR

Abstract

The high youth unemployment rate in Indonesia (16.28%). Encouraging the Government to issue MBKM policies, with the aim of equipping university graduates to be able to compete in the world of work. The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of the MBKM policy at FISIP UPNVJT and what were the obstacles. UPNVJT has implemented the MBKM policy since the beginning of the 2020 semester, as a PT that has just changed its status to a state, it is not easy for UPNVJT to implement the MBKM policy. This study uses a qualitative method with data sources from the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, 4 coordinators of study programs, 1 guardian lecturer, 4 lecturers and 22 students of the Faculty of Social Sciences UPNVJT and literature review from several sources. The results of the research: MBKM policies are less effective and have not been implemented properly because: 1) It is difficult to convert courses 2) It is not easy to get partners 3) The collaboration process between universities is complicated 4) There are many programs and activities that must be implemented. 5) The system is not ready. 6) there is no compatibility between lectures and activities outside the study program. 7) the existence of quota determination. 7) HR issues. 8) Lack of support from students. 10) Network problem. Recommendations: 1) Focus on priorities to improve students' ability to compete in the world of work. 2) Prepare structures and infrastructure to properly support programs and activities. 3) Prepare qualified human resources. 4) Balancing between theory and practice through street vendors. 5) Require government officials, business actors, entrepreneurs, experts to teach as guest lecturers. 6) Lecturer exchange program, 7) Internships and regular KKN are improved. 8) Encouraging students to create jobs.

Abstrak

Tingginya angka pengangguran muda di Indonesia (16,28%). Mendorong Pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan MBKM, dengan tujuan membekali lulusan PT agar mampu bersaing dalam dunia kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi kebijakan MBKM di FISIP UPNVJT dan apa saja kendalanya. UPNVJT telah melaksanakan kebijakan mbkm sejak awal semester 2020, sebagai PT yang baru berubah status menjadi negri, tidaklah mudah bagi UPNVJT untuk mengimplementasikan kebijakan MBKM. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan sumber data dekan FISIP , 4 koorprodi, 1 dosen wali, 4 dosen dan 22 mahasiswa FISIP UPNVJT dan tinjauan pustaka dari beberapa sumber. Hasil penelitian: kebijakan MBKM kurang efektif dan belum terimplementasikan dengan baik karena:1) Sulitnya mengkonversikan mata kuliah 2) Tidak mudah mendapat mitra kerja sama 3) Proses kerja sama antar PT yang rumit 4) Banyaknya program dan kegiatan yang harus dilaksanakan. 5) Sistem belum siap. 6) tidak ada kesesuaian waktu perkuliahan dengan kegiatan di luar prodi. 7) adanya penetapan kuota. 7) Masalah SDM. 8) Kurangnya dukungan dari mahasiswa. 10) Masalah jaringan. Rekomendasi: 1) Fokus pada prioritas meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa untuk bersaing dalam dunia kerja. 2) Mempersiapkan struktur dan infrastruktur untuk menunjang program dan kegiatan dengan baik. 3) Mempersiapkan SDM yang mumpuni. 4) Menyeimbangkan antara teori dan praktek melalui PKL. 5) Mewajibkan pejabat pemerintah, pelaku usaha , entrepreneur, para ahli untuk mengajar sebagai dosen tamu. 6) Program pertukaran dosen, 7) Magang dan KKN regular ditingkatkan. 8) Mendorong mahasiswa menciptakan lapangan kerja.
