Author Guidelines

Please read and understand the author's guidelines for manuscript preparation. Authors who submit manuscripts to editors must adhere to the guidelines and author templates. If the submitted manuscript does not conform to the guidelines or uses a different format, the manuscript will be rejected by the editorial team before review. The editorial team will only accept manuscripts that meet the specified format requirements (downloadable at: Templates Journal. This template is designed to assist Authors in preparing the manuscript; it is an accurate representation of the format expected by the editor. To use this template, simply save this MS Word file to your document, then copy and paste your document here. All papers submitted to the journal must be written in Indonesia or English.

 

Manuscripts

Manuscripts must be original research works that make a significant contribution to the field of public administration. Authors must submit their manuscripts electronically using the submission procedures of Dinamika Governance: Jurnal Ilmu Administrasi Negara. The corresponding author must also provide a statement stating that the manuscript is not being considered for publication elsewhere. Submissions that do not comply with these procedures will be ignored by the editor.

 

General Writing Format

 1. Manuscripts should be prepared on A4 paper, single-sided, and single-spaced. New paragraphs should begin 5 characters from the left margin, using a 12-point font, 1.15 line spacing, and a 6-point font size after each paragraph, using Times New Roman. The length should be approximately 5,000–6,000 words, including figures, tables, and references.

2. The manuscript should be written in English or Indonesian.

3. The title should be capitalized only for the first word or special names (e.g., location names), with a 12 point font size, centered.

4. The manuscript should be between 9 and 13 pages long.

5. References must use Mendeley APA 7th Edition. References must be from publications from the last ten years (>80%), except for key references (80%). Use of textbooks should be minimized (<20%), and include at least three references from the Dinamika Governance Journal.

6. Plagiarism check results must show a similarity score of no more than 25%. Primary sources should be no more than 5%. Otherwise, the manuscript must be revised.

 

Manuscript Structure

Title. The title should be clear and informative, consisting of no more than 20 words.

Authors and Affiliations. The names of the authors should be accompanied by their institutional affiliations and email addresses, without academic titles. For co-authored papers, one of the authors should be designated as the corresponding author.

Abstract. The abstract should be 150–200 words. Please provide an abstract in both English and Indonesian. Keywords should consist of 4 to 5 words or phrases. The abstract should be clear, concise, and descriptive. This abstract should provide a brief introduction to the problem, objective of paper, novelty, followed by a statement regarding the method and a brief summary of results.
Keywords. Keywords should consist of 4 to 5 words or phrases. Key writing uses Times New Roman, 10 ptin size.

Introduction. The introduction should be clear and provide the issue to be discussed in the manuscript. At the end of the paragraph, the author/s should end with a comment on the significance concerning identification of the issue, the objective of research and the novelty of the research.

Method
The method written in descriptive. This Method are optional, only for original research articles.

Discussion

Sub-Title of Discussion 1

This section is the most important section of your article. Contains the results of the object of study and should be clear and concise.

Sub- Title of Discussion 2

Tables and Figures are presented center and cited in the manuscript. The figures should be clearly readable and at least have a resolution of 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch) for good printing quality. Table made with the open model (without the vertical lines) as shown below:

Closing 
Conclusion contains a description that should answer the objectives of research. Do not repeat the Abstract or simply describe the results of the research. Give a clear explanation regarding the possible application and/or suggestions related to the research findings.

References
Dinamika Governance uses APA Style 7 Edition in the References at the end of the manuscript. Cite only items that you have read and written on footnotes. Please use Reference Manager Applications like Mendeley, Zotero, etc. Use other published articles in the same journal as models. All publications cited in the text should be included in the References section and arranged alphabetically.
